ABOUT OUR INDEX and CATALOG Many people like to scan through the index and catalog rather than go through each department of our store. This saves time, since you don't have to wait for all the pictures to download. If you see something you're interested in, you can click on the item and the sales page will download pictures and descriptions of the items. The various departments only list those items that are currently available. As you go through the index, you'll see all the offerings we currently have available PLUS many of the offerings we've had in the past. We keep the past offerings listed because we may carry the item again in the future. Keeping the listing will save hours of re-programming when we do. Unfortunately there is no way to remove the item from the index without erasing it entirely. We've started changing the listing to read 'Sold Out' or 'Out of Stock' for these items, so you don't waste your time viewing the item. Some of these items have not been updated yet though, but we’re working on it.

- Like so many other e-commerce stores, Orchid Enterprise Incorporated is a hobby run amuck. We have been growing orchids, African Violets and a variety of other interesting plants here at OEI for over 20 years.
The items listed here are primarily from our own collection and therefore in limited supply. We try to keep up on our inventory, but this isn’t always possible. Therefore you may find items listed here that are no longer available. We apologize for the inconvenience.



Once a year we travel to South America to study orchids in their natural habitat. We also see quite a few Genserids (African Violet relatives) We will oftentimes invite our friends to join us on these 1-2 week excursions.
If you're looking for a specific Ecuadorian species and can't find it here, feel free to email us. We may have what you're looking for in stock and it's just not listed in our store yet or we maybe we can pick up what you want, during our next visit there.
