Evergreen orchid found in moist woodlands throughout China, Korea, and Japan. Cremastra blooms in May – June and sometimes loses its foliage in summer. Expect 12" spikes of showy peach/buff-colored flowers. Easy to grow in well-drained woodsy soil, that is not allowed to dry out. Cremastra is rare and endangered in its natural range and is being explored for anti-cancer compounds!
